The purpose of this meeting is to build the capacity of the SSAPC grantees in Cohort I and Cohort II to better serve families, children and youth affected by intimate partner violence. This will be done by 1) conducting a final lessons learned, grant close out meeting with SSAPC Cohort I grantees (event was delayed due to the impact of COVID-19 on travel and mass gatherings) 2) engaging SSAPC Cohort I mentors as faculty and coaches for Cohort II, 3) connecting SSAPC Cohort I and II grantees to peers and affinity groups with similar programs and goals, 3) discussing successes, challenges, and lessons learned for addressing the needs of children exposed to domestic violence and their abused parents, 4) providing intensive training and technical assistance on areas of identified need with the support of a team of subject matter experts and national technical assistance providers, and 5) providing training on administrative processes and responsiveness to federal awards, in partnership with the Office of Grants Management.

This 3-session Virtual Exchange will provide opportunities to be inspired, connect with and learn from your peers, and strengthen our collective work to improve outcomes for parent and child survivors of DV.
