FVPSA STATE ADMINISTRATORS LISTING

 

The Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) formula grants to states and territories fund local public, private, nonprofit and faith-based organizations and programs demonstrating effectiveness in the field of domestic violence services and prevention. STATE AND TERRITORIAL DV COALITIONS LISTING

 

FVPSA-funded State and Territorial Domestic Violence Coalitions coordinate state- and territory-wide improvements within local communities, social service systems, and programming regarding the prevention and intervention of domestic violence. Every Coalition provides comprehensive training and technical assistance on a multitude of social, legal, and economic issues that affect victims’ safety and well-being. The Domestic Violence Resource Network (DVRN) is funded by FVPSA to inform and strengthen domestic violence intervention and prevention efforts at the individual, community, and societal levels. DVRN partner organizations routinely host webinars and in-person trainings, provide written materials such as fact sheets, guides, and research briefs, respond to questions from professionals working directly with victims, offer customized training and technical assistance, and often partner with state domestic violence coalitions on research projects and promote cutting-edge best practices.

 

Domestic Violence Resource Network Fact Sheet: The DVRN is an essential coordinating network that provides training, technical assistance, and systems-based advocacy to existing grantees or anyone wanting to help survivors. The DVRN’s efforts help ensure that every state, tribe, and community can offer essential services to individuals who experience and are recovering from domestic violence.
